What exactly does this grade?
Two independent things, shown separately: (1) a fully deterministic technical audit of your llms.txt, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and homepage structured data / metadata — zero AI involved; and (2) an honest probe of whether Anthropic's Claude has reliable training-data knowledge of your brand. They're never blended into one number without a visible breakdown.
Does the AI-knowledge probe check ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini too?
No — we don't have API access to those yet, so we don't query them, simulate them, or guess at their results. Only Claude is actually queried, and that's stated clearly wherever the score is shown.
Why might a real, legitimate business score 'no knowledge' on the AI probe?
Claude only knows what was in its training data. A small or recently-founded business is very plausibly unknown to it — that's an honest, correct result, not a bug. We explicitly instruct the model to say "I don't know" rather than invent plausible-sounding details.
Is my site's data stored after grading?
The grading endpoint fetches your site's public pages to run the checks and calls Claude once for the knowledge probe; it does not persist your results in a database. Your report is shown to you in the browser for this session.
