Is this really free, with no signup to try it?
Yes. You can build an invoice or estimate and see the exact totals with no account. You only need to enter an email to unlock the PDF download.
How is tax and discount calculated?
Subtotal = sum of (quantity × rate) for every line item. Discount is a percentage applied to the subtotal. Tax is a percentage applied to the discounted (post-discount) amount. Total = discounted amount + tax.
Does this store or send my invoice data anywhere?
No — all calculations and PDF generation happen in your browser. Nothing about your invoice, client, or line items is sent to a server, unlocking the download only sends your own email/name/company to our lead form.
Can I use this for real client invoices?
Yes, it produces a real, downloadable PDF you can send as-is. If you want invoices that track payment status, send automatic reminders, and accept online payments, that's what BillCrop is for.
What currency does it use?
